Books are the way to my heart. I'll read anything and everything someone recommends. It's such a thrilling feeling knowing that a new adventure awaits every time you flip open a new book and start reading those first few words.
I also enjoy sharing my love for books with others, I love going through people's "books-to-read" lists so I decided to create my own. You may notice this list contains plenty of YA but well, that's just what I was feeling.

So in no particular order, some of the books I truly enjoyed reading these past few months;
- Looking for Alaska - John Green
This is a given, just because it's John Green. He is brilliant and a captivator of emotions. Looking for Alaska talks teenagers and drugs and relationships and everything in between. Plus, you could say it has one of those unexpected endings, so no spoilers!
- The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight - Jennifer E. Smith
One of my favorites. This is such a simple book but I truly enjoyed it, (maybe it was my love for London and English boys) but regardless, it's a fun and quick easy read! No doubt, it'll make you want to go to the airport and fall in love! - The Maze Runner - James Dashner
If you like dystopian, you'll enjoy the The Maze Runner. I've heard a lot of comparisons to The Hunger Games, though I haven't read HG so I can't speak for that. However, The Maze Runner is one of those stories that pull you in from the start & you just have to keep reading to find out what happens next! I haven't read the book that follows (The Scorch Trials), but I'm sure it'll be just as intense! - Gone Girl - Gillian Flynn
You've most likely heard everyone raving about this one and yeah, it's good. It's a thriller/mystery so of course it's a page turner no doubt. The ending is very well thought out and won't let you down. I did find it a bit slow at times, but I think it's worth reading nonetheless. - Everyday - David Levithan
This one made the list because it's such a different book, at least to me it was. I had never ready any story like it, so I was quite intrigued to figure out how it ended and it did not disappoint. I heard there's a sequel coming out, written from another character's point of view, so I will definitely be checking that out!
So what have been some of your favorite books so far? Have you read any of the ones mentioned above and if so, what are your opinions on them? I love discussing books and finding new ones, so let's have a chat!
